There is much to offer in the beautiful Shetland Islands so creating memorable experiences is easily done. Shetland lies at 60° North and is at the crossroads of the Atlantic and the North Sea. We have a unique culture, being that we belonged to Norway until 1469, but you’ll hear more about that when you’re on tour.

Island Vista aims to enhance the visitor experience by concentrating on creating excursions that connect Shetland’s traditional way of life, natural beauty, unique archaeology, fascinating geology, wonderful wildlife and rugged landscape of the Shetland Isles.

Island Vista is a partnership of two born and bred Shetlanders, Robin Hunter and Jolene Garriock. Both are accredited Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA) Green Badge Guides. Island Vista also runs the training course to become a fully qualified tourist guide every second winter.
