Island Vista is a locally owned company, based in the Shetland Islands in the very north of Scotland. We have over 15 years of experience in providing high-quality excursions, day trips and bespoke tours for private groups and individuals alike.

There is much to offer in the beautiful Shetland Islands so creating memorable experiences is easily done. Shetland lies at 60° North, making it the most northerly part of Scotland and the UK, and it is at the crossroads of the Atlantic and the North Sea. We have a unique culture, being an interesting combination of both Scottish and Scandinavian. While we belong to Scotland now, we used to belong to Norway until 1469, but you will hear more about that when you visit.

We aim to enhance the visitor experience by concentrating on creating tours that connect Shetland’s traditional way of life, natural beauty, unique archaeology, fascinating geology, wonderful wildlife and rugged landscape.

Island Vista is a partnership of two born and bred Shetlanders, Robin Hunter and Jolene Garriock. Both are accredited Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA) Green Badge Guides for Shetland.

Close working relationships with local suppliers enable Island Vista to organise quality tours and bespoke experiences. We are continuously working on new tour ideas and looking at ways to improve our standards and offer a wider range of services.
